Sigil One is a workspace for financial organization, modeling, evidence preservation, and decision support. You can record holdings across crypto, stocks, ETFs and funds, real estate, and metals; import and review CSV records; add read-only evidence from a public Bitcoin address; record annual property tax bills; model and compare possible sales using assumptions you provide; save decisions and see what has changed since; and generate reports for professional review.
Sigil One also provides household organization: a household with members, roles, and explicit permissions; records for accounts, income, bills, subscriptions, obligations, and budgets; cash-flow forecasting and shortfall detection; modeled rearrangement options; saved household decisions; deterministic Merlin observations and specialist views; a list of assistance resources that may be relevant; and a tax-readiness workspace with document storage, CPA questions, and a readiness export.
Sigil One is software. It is not a certified public accountant, attorney, certified financial planner, investment adviser, tax preparer, tax authority, or government agency, and using it does not create a professional, fiduciary, or advisory relationship. Labels such as Merlin, specialist, analyst, or readiness describe a view of your own records; they do not indicate a licensed professional or professional credentials. Nothing in the product is personalized tax, legal, investment, or financial advice.
Every calculation depends on the records, assumptions, and rate selections you provide and on the evidence available. Modeled outcomes, tax exposure estimates, cash-flow projections, shortfall warnings, and readiness statuses are estimates and descriptions of your records, not determinations of your actual liability or position. Unknown information stays unknown and can change a result. You remain responsible for verifying information with a qualified professional where appropriate and for the decisions you make.
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials and authenticator private, and use the service lawfully. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must have the right to enter, upload, or share any information you place in Sigil One, including information about other people. Do not upload passwords, account credentials, private keys, or seed phrases; Sigil One never asks for them.
Adding a public Bitcoin address sends that address to Blockstream, a third-party provider of public blockchain data, to retrieve transaction history. Public blockchain data can be incomplete, delayed, or limited by the provider, and the provider's availability is not guaranteed. Address activity is evidence only; it does not establish cost basis, ownership, or a bank balance. Sigil One does not take custody of assets, hold funds, execute trades, handle private keys, sign transactions, or move money, and it has no bank, brokerage, or exchange connection.
A household owner controls who is a member and exactly what each member can see and do. Membership does not by itself grant access to any record; access exists only where the owner has granted a specific permission, and the owner can change or revoke it. Records marked private remain visible only to their creator.
An invitation QR code or link only opens a request to join. Possession of a code or link does not create authorization; a person must sign in and be approved by the owner. You must have the authority to invite others and to share household information about them. Household roles, including the dependent-member role, are permission settings and do not represent a person's legal status or age.
Household subscription requests, approvals, and permission changes are recorded by Sigil One as household decisions. Recording an approval does not execute a purchase, cancel or change a service, contact a merchant, or create authority with any outside business.
Forecasts, budgets, shortfall detection, and modeled rearrangement options are calculated from the records currently entered and the estimates you choose. Missing, outdated, or estimated records affect the result, and a shortfall warning or its absence is not a guarantee. Modeled options are hypothetical calculations: no bill is paid, subscription changed, asset sold, or provider contacted by Sigil One.
Assistance listings are informational. That a program appears as possibly relevant does not mean you or your household are eligible. The organizations listed control their own applications, decisions, terms, and privacy practices, and Sigil One does not contact them or apply on your behalf.
The tax-readiness workspace and the reports and handoff packages organize your records and questions for a CPA or for your own preparation. Sigil One is not tax filing software: it does not file federal or state returns, generate government forms, populate government documents, transmit anything to a tax authority, or guarantee any tax outcome.
Merlin observations and specialist views are deterministic software that applies fixed rules to your own records. They are supportive interfaces, not licensed professionals, and not a substitute for professional advice.
Modeling, comparing, and saving decisions is free, and so are household organization, the demo, and the household readiness export. A CPA Handoff Package costs $49 for one or more selected saved decisions and includes PDF, CSV, and supporting archive files with saved assumptions, available source context, and CPA questions. Captured A/B comparisons are included in the PDF and archive when present, without a separate purchase for the starting scenario.
Existing paid decision handoffs remain accessible under their original entitlement.
Holdings and CPA disposal reports are separate $49 purchases. Each includes a 72-hour re-export window for that report type. Payments are processed by Stripe and are non-recurring. There is no subscription. The Refund Policy applies to paid outputs.
You own the data you enter, import, or upload. We store it to provide the service as described in the Privacy Policy. Saved decisions, earlier record versions, household authority history, and uploaded documents are preserved as history by design. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; deletion is handled by the operator and is subject to the retention described in the Privacy Policy, and shared household records that other members rely on may remain in that household.
Sigil One depends on third-party services, including hosting, authentication, storage, payments, and public blockchain data. Those services can be interrupted, and we may perform maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features.
You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or close an account that is used unlawfully, that abuses the service or other users, or that attempts to access records it is not authorized to see.
Sigil One is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of any estimate, forecast, observation, listing, or report, or about the suitability of any output for a particular tax, financial, or household situation. To the extent permitted by law, Sigil One is not liable for decisions made in reliance on the service. You are responsible for verifying all information with a qualified professional where appropriate.
We may update these terms when the product changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
