About Sigil One

Sigil One was built around a simple problem: crypto holders often do not know what a sale may mean until after the decision is already made.

The app gives you a way to slow that moment down.

It helps you model a possible sale before you make it, preserve a record of the assumptions behind that estimate, and export a clean worksheet your CPA can review.

Built by Sigil Systems

Sigil One is built by Sigil Systems, a veteran-owned software company focused on practical tools for decision support, record preservation, and financial clarity.

The product is built from the belief that people make better decisions when they can see the likely consequence before they act, keep the evidence behind the decision, and hand a cleaner record to someone qualified to review it.

What Sigil One does

Sigil One brings crypto, investments, real estate, and metals into one planning workspace.

You can enter positions manually, import and review crypto CSV records, and separate open holdings from transaction evidence such as sales, income, exchanges, movements, and other activity.

Record annual property tax bills, model and compare possible sales, and keep decisions with their inputs and reasoning. Separate reports cover what you hold, what you might sell, and eligible completed disposals.

A household can share income, bills, subscriptions, budgets, and cash-flow timing with members under explicit permissions, keep household decisions, find assistance resources that may be relevant, and prepare tax records and questions for a CPA.

The goal is not to replace your tax professional. The goal is to give you a better record before you walk into that conversation.

What Sigil One does not do

Sigil One is not tax filing software. It does not file returns, generate government tax forms, provide tax advice, provide trading advice, or guarantee a tax outcome.

It does not connect to wallets, exchanges, banks, or brokerages, and it does not move assets. Your data is entered or imported by you. The one optional outside source is read-only public transaction history for a Bitcoin address you choose; it never involves private keys, custody, or transfer authority.

Household records, members, and permissions are controlled by the household owner. Merlin and the specialist views are deterministic software reading your own records, not licensed professionals.

The estimates shown in the app are planning aids based on the information and assumptions you provide.

What guides the work

The work behind Sigil One is influenced by a simple message:

When you are tired, exhausted, and feel like you cannot go on, take one additional step in the name of those who are no longer able.

That idea shapes the product. Build the record. Preserve the evidence. Take the next step carefully, especially when the decision matters.

Why it exists

A lot of people avoid making decisions because the tax side feels unclear. Others make the move first and try to clean up the record later.

Sigil One is built for the space between those two mistakes.

It gives holders a calmer way to ask: “If I sell this, what might I be creating?” and “Can I preserve the record well enough for someone qualified to review it?”
